Daily Inspirations

“Our body is perishable and can expire at any time. It’s good to honor the limitations of the physical body. Pay attention to what it is saying. Take care of what it needs. Allow it to regenerate on its own schedule. In this regard, its very liberating to say “no” to demanding people, even as they protest.”

“We already know that pain is a normal, inevitable fact of every person’s life.  It’s not optional.  The only thing that is optional is our perception of pain and suffering.  It can either expand us into awakening, or contract us into deeper misery.”

“When you let go completely, surrendering everything, and refuse to participate in struggle,  it’s amazing how everything just falls into place like small, daily miracles.  We think we have no power at all.  But actually, it’s astonishing the speed and ease by which we can manifest if we just get out of our own way at let the universe be the do-er.”

“Fear of death and having to face our own mortality is a gift.   If we are willing to look past our fears and see the gift, it has the potential to put our focus in the present moment.  And it gives us the realization that each moment is a precious treasure, an experience to be met with presence, enthusiasm and deep gratitude for being alive another day.”

“If we choose to stay in a situation that has a lot of difficulty, then our perspective needs to change dramatically.  We need to stop viewing it only as difficulty, and start viewing it as a great opportunity to become a Master! Everything in our lives is a mirror. When we look into that mirror, we can see our own shadows of ignorance as well as our own light of higher truth.”
